Trek Java to Bali
Java with its rich history is an island of contradictions. It is the geographical centre of Indonesia, the world’s largest Muslim country. It is also the countries economic and political heart. Many of its cities are crowded and noisy, yet its countryside is the complete opposite.
With green fields and terraces set among active volcano’s, rural Java is strikingly beautiful. Its people are warm and friendly and smile easily.
Relatively unheralded by mainstream tourism, few companies can match a true Javanese overland experience offered by take7travel.
A search of the internet will present almost solely Javanese operators and personal guides, some of dubious credentials.
For many tourists, particularly westerners it presents an unknown quality of experience and possible language misinterpretation. Adventure companies will add a ‘taste of Java’ to more popular destinations.
Most are rushed and with large groups often coming across for a few days from Bali. Unlike Take 7 Travel, few companies offer small (2 – 6) personalised and comprehensive treks from Jakarta to Kuta, Bali.
A some what ‘tough gig’ this is for the adventurous of heart and flexible traveler. Each trip takes 12 days from Jakarta to Kuta. We travel via train, private transport and ferry away from the cities in the regional areas. We stay in basic but clean accommodations along the way. Food is awesome and beer is cheap so join us and Trek Java to Bali.
